“For it is in giving that we receive.”
At least 70 Mamanwa children eagerly received their gifts including toys, candies, slippers, string bags, and umbrellas during the Kalinga Alay sa Katutubo: NCIP Caraga Service Caravan at Sitio Inajaw, Barangay Bangonay, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte.
School supplies and food packs were provided by Agata Mining Ventures Inc. (AMVI) and San Roque Mining, Inc. (SRMI), respectively.
Two (2) tubes of ice cream were gone in a flash! Everybody was in complete amusement owing to the series of dances and games. Pukpok Palayok and Hep Hep Hooray were played. Toys and cash prizes were awarded to winners. Mamanwa elders and leaders, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) 29th Infantry Battalion, and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Special Action Force (SAF) heads, and even NCIP Regional Director Bosantog and staff joined the merriment.
