Right of suffrage this coming Presidential Election will be exercised by 100 Bajau ICCs/IPs thanks to the efforts of Ms. Rosita Liwagon, NCIP Catanauan CSC head, IP volunteer Angie Nadres, and NCIP Regional Hearing Office-Atty. Josefina Rodriguez-Agusti and Mr. Jerome Enriquez, with assistance from Atty. Ann Mei Barbacena, Election Officer of Comelec Lucena City, and the Bajau ICCs/IPs themselves for signing up to cast their votes next year.

The deadline for voter registration is extended from October 11 to 30, moving the initial deadline of September 30, 2021 (PNA, 2021), this would give more time for NCIP to assist more ICCs/IPs to register and make their votes count on the 2022 election.
