06 January 2023 | Aboitiz Group of Companies paid a courtesy call to NCIP

Mr. Mckoy Pernia of Aboitiz Group of Companies, paid a courtesy call to NCIP Chairperson together with OIC Executive Director Atty Caesar Ortega, OPPR Dir George A Rabusa, and Executive Assistant Edgar Nicolas.

Mr. Pernia discussed the possible collaboration between NCIP and Aboitiz with regard to Project Epanaw Phase 2 and several other Corporate Social responsibilities (CSRs) that Aboitiz is currently undertaking in their projects inside the Ancestral Domains.

For his part, the Chairperson discussed the possibility of Aboitiz putting up a hydro plant in one of the rivers in Negros, where he informed Commissioner Jorge Largado who was the Commissioner in charge of the island group and the Visayas, which was positively accepted by Mr. Pernia.

After discussions, the Chairperson gave 2 sets of Coffee Table Books to Mr. Pernia and one set to Mr. Danel Aboitiz.
