On the occasion of the 24th Anniversary of Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA) of 1997, the Higaonon, Umayamnon, Talaandig, Matigsalug, Manobo, and Tigwahanon Elders and Leaders Bagani, UNIHITRICO Besegan, Tignapolian, Magsaysay, and Gingoog conducted a Ceremonial Cutting of Barbed Wire Fence in CALT No. R10-OPO-0709-000225.

 

 

This event symbolizes the emancipation of the ICCs/IPs from the bondage of poverty, exploitation, discrimination, and injustices committed by the intruders of Ancestral lands and domains.
