17 January 2024 | The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) welcomes the delegation from the Climate Change Commission (CCC) at the NCIP Central Office, Quezon City.

Chairperson Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las together with Executive Director Mervyn H. Espadero, Commissioner Gaspar Cayat, Commissioner Atty. Rhodex Valenciano and other officials of NCIP had a meeting with the Climate Change Commission led by Undersecretary Albert P. Dela Cruz Sr. and Presidential Adviser on Climate Change Ambassador Jeon Dae Gu.

The above-mentioned visit is to forge partnership between the two Commissions in connection with the proposed Solar Development Project in Porac, Pampanga.

To cap the engagement, NCIP provided copies of Project Epanaw Coffee Table Books and 2022 Annual Report to the delegates from Climate Change Commission.
