06 November 2023 | The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) represented by its head delegation, Dr. Kyung Nam Shin, Assistant Director General of GGGI paid a courtesy visit to the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Central Office in Quezon City. The GGGI delegation was warmly welcomed by Chairperson Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las on behalf of the NCIP.
During the meeting, Dr. Nishant Bhardwaj shared with NCIP about the Green Investment Services (GIS) Global Practice of GGGI in support of the Green and Blue Economy. A conversation between the two agencies about potential collaborative programs mitigating the impacts of climate change, and the identification of potential projects in support of Marcos Jr. Adminstration’s Socioeconomic Agenda for Affordable and Clean Energy were tackled.
As agreed during the meeting, the partnership through an MOU between the GGGI and NCIP was also on the pipeline.
To cap the meeting, GGGI received IP-designed digital posters, and posters of 11 Building Blocks (11BBs) Framework.
