12 April 2024 | To ensure the good health and the continued service of the employees of the National Commission on Indigenous–Central Office, the Health Development Division (HDD) of the Office of Education, Culture, and Health (OECH) in collaboration with RJR2 Acupuncture Care Center and Eyecon Optical Clinic conducts quarterly optometric, medical and wellness check-up.
Chairperson Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las along with the officers and staff of NCIP availed the free medical consultations. Further, families of NCIP Central Office employees were also given opportunity to avail of the free wellness services. The medical consultation also includes the distribution of free medicines, massage therapy sessions, and acupuncture services.
Moreover, medical consultation services were provided by NCIP Central Office Resident Medical Officer Dr. Ross Jacob A. Rosales together with NCIP Regional Office IV-B Medical Officer Dr. Grethel R. Loyola. Likewise, Acupuncture Services were given by Dr. Romeo V. Gavino, CMA; Johnny M Irlandes, CA; Victor M. De Los Santos, CA; and Rosalinda D Arimado, CA along with their associates Edwin C. Samlero, CAA; Natividad M. Meñez; Jesus L. Bitantes, ADS; and Roderick R. Rodas.
Additionally, the massage therapists who provided relief and relaxation to NCIP employees are Ms. Maria Fe M. Rapio, Mr. Dante F. Pinto, and Mr. Jose Bayani Mendoza. Subsequently, Dr. Susan Abesamis, Mr. Jeremias D. Bonita, Mr. Glen Ferolino, and Mr. Jose Piquero of Eyecon Optical Clinic were in charge of the optometric consultations.
To end the engagement, Chairperson Sibug-Las together with OECH Dir. Engr. Mary Grace P. Buasen and Health Development Division Chief Dr. Ross Jacob A. Rosales gave copies of the NCIP Project Epanaw Coffee Table Books to the medical volunteers as a token of appreciation for their continued support and service to NCIP.
