Through the World Bank, a regional event is being conducted to allow knowledge exchange and enhance understanding on the recognition of customary and forest area tenure by sharing experiences and lessons learned from development partners and key EAP government agencies responsible for land administration and forest management.
The four (4)-day event will be hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF), Department of Lands (DOL), and Department of Forestry (DOF) of Lao PDR.
The Philippine delegation is composed of five (5) National Government Agencies (NGAs) namely, the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Land Management Bureau (DENR-LMB), Land Registration Authority (LRA), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and Climate Change Commission (CCC).
