The Foreign-Assisted Programs and International Relations Office (FAPIRO) actively participates to the activity which aims to level-off the understanding & significance of operationalizing the Eleven (11) Building Blocks on the recognition, protection & promotion of the rights of indigenous peoples to all stakeholders for a resilient, relevant and responsive Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) as partners for nation building, peace, security, and development.
These collaborative efforts aim to advocate and strengthen the Whole of Government (WOG)/Whole of Nation (WON) approach synchronizing the efforts of the Philippine Government and other stakeholders to better respond and address injustices indigenous peoples issues.
The two (2)-day undertaking is being headed by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) in collaboration with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Local Government Units (LGUs), ICCs/IPs, MIPYO, MIPCEL, other Government Agencies, and concerned Public and Private Sectors.
