NCIP Medical Team and Davao del Sur Provincial Office Personnel took a two (2)-hour hike to reach the Blaan ICCs/IPs in Sitio Latil, Brgy. Abnate, Kiblawan, Davao del Sur.

 

  

 

The team immediately rendered medical consultation and distributed medicines for the Blaan ICCs/IPs. Food packs were also distributed during the activity with the help from the 39th IB led by Ltc. Ezra L. Balagtey INF (GSC) PA.

 

 

Also present during the activity were representatives from TESDA who turned over Solar Panels for the community which has an estimated population of 100 IPs/31 households. Youth volunteers from Davao del Sur also committed to teach the younger generation through scheduled tutorial sessions.

The activity was made possible through collaborative efforts with our Partner Agencies: Department of Health (DOH) XI and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) XI.
