Monitoring of the ongoing establishment of Diversified & Sustainable Farming (Pang-Ibabasok Agro-tourism Park) Project and Distribution of Health Kits in Balaatan, Brgy. Camagong, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte under Sub-Component IV of RDA-CREATE Project for the Higaonon ICCs/IPs
 
The NCIP con
ducted a monitoring to ensure time bounded implementation of Diversified & Sustainable Farming (Pang-Ibabasok Agro-tourism Park) Project in Balaatan, Brgy. Camagong, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte under the Sub-Component IV of Rights-Based Development Approach through Culturally Responsive, Environmentally Adaptive, and Time-Bounded Enrichment (RDA-CREATE) Project
 for the Higaonon Indigenous Cultural Communities/ Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs).
 
During the monitoring, it was found out that the Higaonon Indigenous Peoples (IP) already planted 3,500 seedlings of different fruit bearing trees in the project site and fenced the livestock production area and Seedling Nursery.
 
For now, the Higaonon IPs are busy constructing the livestock barn and farm plots for their communal vegetable farm. This will be planted with different organic vegetables and ornamentals.
NCIP health personnel also distributed health kits from Provincial Government of Agusan del Norte through Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.
