May 12, 2022 | The NCIP attends the Department of Agriculture’s Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (DA-4K) Regular Meeting through a hybrid platform.
The meeting focuses on the various programs and services of the DA that can be accessed by the interested and eligible ICCs/IPs for potential funding support, such as the National Organic Agriculture Program (NOAP), National Livestock Program (NLP), High-Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) and the Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (4Ks) Program. The meeting also discussed the preparation for the IP Day Celebration in August.
The NCIP was well represented by its officials and employees headed by OSESSC Director, Atty. Geroncio R. Aguio, Chief Glenda A. Pua and Ms. Dana Lim of OSESSC-SEDD, Chief Ma. Theresa A. Santos and Ms. Jedidiah Alger of OECH, and OIC-IRD Ms. Jordine Rose Ocon of OPPR.
The DA-4K was represented and headed by Program Director Ervannie Jay P. Belarmino, and Assistant Program Director Lucia A, Campomanes who were joined by their technical staff. Some farmer representatives of the National Organic Agriculture Board (NOAB) were also present in the meeting, while the regional participants joined thru a virtual platform.
