Look | NCIP Bulacan CSC facilitated the 2022 1st Quarter Region III-Bulacan IPMRs’ “Ulat Sa Katutubo” with Tribal Elders, Chieftains, and Other Tribal Leaders where the following are mentioned:
1.Most of the various projects implemented through coordination with Local Government Units (LGUs), Government Agencies, and Private Organizations;
2.LGUs’ Support and Adoption of the NCIP National Advisory on the Illegal Selling of Lands Inside the Ancestral Domains;
3.Resolution establishing Malasakit Center;
4.Proposal to create Sitio Karahume, an IP Community, to be a Tribal Barangay;
5.Proposal to exempt IPs in paying fees for clearances; and
6.Creation of COMELEC Voting Precinct specifically for IPs.
NCIP Bulacan CSC highly appreciated the many accomplishments of our IPMRs in terms of delivery of Basic Services. The CSC emphasized the role of IPMRs should be more on crafting, sponsoring, and institutionalizing policies and resolutions towards IP Community development.
