NCIP Chairperson Allen A. Capuyan and Commissioner Jeorge M. Largado of the Island Group and Rest of Visayas, together with Central Office officers and staff and Regional Office IVB personnel headed by Regional Director Marie Grace T. Pascua, paid a courtesy call to the Governor of the Province of Oriental Mindoro, Honorable Governor Humerlito “Bonz” A. Dolor. During the occasion, the NCIP team handed over a set of Project Epanaw’s Three (3) Coffee Table Books (CTBs) to the good governor. The group also visited Provincial Administrator Dr. Hubbert Christopher A. Dolor, MD, MPA, MHA who said that the provincial government encapsulated a “literacy for all” program for the Indigenous Peoples (IPs).

Chairperson Capuyan and company next visited the NCIP Oriental Mindoro Provincial Office and the Museum of Oriental Mindoro. The Chairperson also had a glimpse of the digitization project of the Certification Precondition (CP) application of Region IVB at the satellite office of NCIP MIMAROPA in Mindoro State University Calapan City Campus. The team then headed to Barangay Bethel, Victoria where they passed by at the Ministry Station of Pampamayanang Mangyan Ugnayan, Incorporated (PMUI) Executive Director Juvelyn V. Gumal-in.
