22 January 2024 | Chairperson Sibug-Las had a coordination meeting with the Station Commander of Kamuning Police Station 10, QCPD – PLTCOL ROBERT PARAS AMORANTO together with PLTCOL FERDINAND MA. ARCILLA SERAPIO, QCPDFU AND PMAJ JOSEPH S. INFANTE, QCPDFU
The meeting revolved around the daily functions of the NCIP and the upcoming visit of Special Rapporteur Irene Khan. Also, the assistance that could be provided by the Kamuning Police Station to ensure peace and order within the area.
Further, Chairperson Sibug-Las emphasized the importance of tailoring security measures to the distinct needs of indigenous populations.
In response, PLTCOL ROBERT PARAS AMORANTO, PLTCOL FERDINAND MA. ARCILLA SERAPIO, QCPDFU and PMAJ JOSEPH S. INFANTE, QCPDFU warmly welcomed the Chairperson and gave their commitment that Kamuning Police Station 10 is prepared to provide the necessary assistance to the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples.
