14 November 2022 | The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) conducted a Response Writeshop on the Burning Issues in relation to A.O. 03, Series of 2012 or the Free Prior Informed Consent Guidelines (FPIC) on 14 November 2022 at the Camelot Hotel, Quezon City.
During the writeshop, Chairperson Capuyan emphasized and advised the participants: “We must have the picture of the whole. The different guidelines being crafted reinforce the 11 building blocks…The IPS should have the main goal and that NCIP should help them realize their goals”.
The writeshop is attended by the NCIP Ethnographic Commissioners, Bureau Directors, Regional Directors, Technical Management Services Division (TMSD), and the FPIC Technical Working Group and Secretariats.
