The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) paid a Courtesy Visit to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on 03 November 2022, at Silid Lapu-Lapu, GHQ Building, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
The NCIP Chairperson presented the Projects and Programs of NCIP. He discussed Phase 2 of the Collaboration Framework emphasizing the Continuation of Advocacy and Institutionalization of 11 Building Blocks/3Rs and 13 Economic Drivers/Nation Building in 1,539 Ancestral Domains/Ancestral Lands (ADs/ALS).
The AFP assured continuous support with the NCIP in achieving the objectives of this collaboration.
After the meeting, the NCIP turned over sets of Project Epanaw’s Three (3) Coffee Table Books (CTBs), Annual Reports, and Poster of the 11 Building Blocks of Resilient, Responsive, and Relevant ICCs/IPs in their Ancestral Domains to the AFP.
