14 November 2023 | The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary for International Affairs, and Attached and Supervised Agencies (ASAs), Emmeline Villar had a meeting in NCIP Central Office, Quezon City.
The meeting aimed to orient Undersecretary Villar on NCIP’s Mandate, Programs, Activities and Projects and to discuss NCIP’s five-year strategic plan with its corresponding goals and metrics. Preparations for the Senate of the Philippines plenary budget hearing for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 were also tackled.
To close the meeting, Usec. Villar expressed her support on behalf of DSWD to NCIP; further, the Undersecretary received Project Epanaw Coffee Table Books (CTBs).
