A continuation of the FPIC Validation Field Interviews and Project Site Inspection for the DSWD-KALAHI-CIDSS-NCDDP-KKB Sub-Project entitled, “Procurement and Installation of Disinfection Wash Facility” was done on 02-04 February in identified Puroks/Project Sites in the Communities of Asin Road, San Luis Village, Lourdes Subdivision Extension, Guisad Surong, Pinget, Pinsao Pilot Project, Sto. Tomas School Area, Dontogan, Camp 7, Kias, and Pacdal, Baguio City.
The activity was attended by IP Elders/Leaders/Representatives/Beneficiaries of the 11 recipient barangays and the FPIC Validation Team/NCIP Baguio Staff led by CDO III/Team Leader Judith Cadias, TAA II Gary Dong-gayao, TAA I Janette Calderon, and AA I/Driver Jeckerson T. Cariño.
The FPIC Team inspected 44 units of procured and installed disinfection wash facilities in the different project sites (Brgy. Halls, Elem./High Schools, Day Care, and Health Centers). The FPIC Team also validated at least 50 IP Elders/Leaders/Reps/Beneficiaries.
The implementation status of the 44 facilities were 90-95% done. Respondents were thankful and supportive of the said sub-project since it is an immediate need during this time of pandemic. The team also discussed/followed-up with the IP Leaders/Representatives the installation of an IPMR to their respective Sangguniang Barangays and other Services/Programs of the NCIP like IP Culture and EAP. IEC Brochures were provided too. The team met w/ CSDWO for some documents needed and updates of validation activities.
