Environment and Social Standards Matter in Boosting Philippines’ Competitiveness was a thesis of a just concluded High-Level Discussion (HLD) on the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) For Executives. The Chairperson led the NCIP delegation in the discussion focused on leveraging the Philippines’ Environment and Social Risk Management Systems to gain a competitive advantage.
The NCIP Chairperson shared his reflections and responses, he emphasized “All processes of IP Rights are all connected into their way of life, customs, and traditions to enhance their well-being”.
The HLD was attended by government agencies such as the NEDA, DENR, DOLE, private corporations such as the International Finance Corporation, the Bank of the Philippine Islands, and other partners of the World Bank.
NCIP turned over sets of Project Epanaw’s Three (3) Coffee Table Books (CTBs), Annual Reports, and Poster of the 11 Building Blocks of a Resilient, Responsive, and Relevant ICCs/IPs in their Ancestral Domains.
