02 October 2023 | National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the NCIP Central Office in Quezon City.
The MOU is geared to recognize cultural values and customary laws of Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) in the settling disputes to gain access to justice; and shall strengthen and improve use of conflict resolution of ICCs/IPs through their own justice systems and mechanism.
