NCIP Official Launches Hotline Service

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) is now more accessible with its new hotlines. The NCIP Hotline and SMS Blast Platform will operate from Monday to Friday, eight ( 8 ) hours a day. Calls received outside of office hours, on weekends, or during national/local holidays will be acknowledged and responded to on the next working day.

The NCIP Hotline Service was officially launched on August 9, 2024, during the celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day (NIPD) and the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples (IDWIP) at the Ardenhills Suites in Quezon City. This launching was one of the key highlights of the event.

The NCIP Hotline Service provides a direct and centralized communication channel for Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) to report urgent concerns related to indigenous rights, welfare, and cultural preservation, among others, within their ancestral domains and communities. Additionally, the NCIP SMS Blast Platform serves as a tool for sending mass alerts, notifications, and announcements about various NCIP programs and other relevant matters.
