NCIP officials join the Youth Leadership Summit at Lubuagan, Kalinga

Youth Leadership Summit | August 18-19, 2022
NCIP OEHR Dir Reynaldo Dingal, Ms Gaye Florendo, NCIP/NTF ELCAC Spokesperson for IP concern and MIPYO Spokesperson invited in the Youth Leadership Summit in a scenic village in the mountains of Kalinga.
The summit was held at the Awichon Cultural Village in Lubuagan, Kalinga with a theme: “Youth Together for Peace”.
The activity was initiated by the Kalinga PNP and the Kalinga Provincial Government for the youth of the provinces of Kalinga and Mt. Province. The activity was also attended by the Kalinga Governor Hon James S Edduba, Lubuagan Vice Mayor Hon Alonzo Saclag Jr, Kalinga PPO Provincial Director PCol Peter M Tagtag Jr and Kalinga Youth Ambassador Justin Edduba.
The leadership training aims to empower, inspire, motivate, and encourage the youth to become responsible next generation stewards of their own respective IP communities in the promotion and protection of their customary laws, practices, and tradition.
As the next generation cultural bearers, they were encouraged to participate in the activities of their own respective communities specially in promoting togetherness and building a sense of unity within the society.
