NCIP Commissioner Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las, together with OECH Director Engr. Mary Grace P. Buasen, and ECD Chief Ma. Theresa Santos, personally met with Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino Chairman Arthur P. Casanova, PhD and staff at Malacanang Complex, Manila yesterday to strengthen partnership and delivered copies of the Three (3) Coffee Table Books, NCIP Annual Reports 2019 and 2020, and NTF-ELCAC Annual Report 2019. KWF also provided 3 sets of books to NCIP.

NCIP and KWF agreed to work together in correcting historical injustices perpetuated through mislabeling and wrong use of terms applied to IPs. Other agenda include the drafting and renewal of the NCIP-KWF Memorandum of Agreement and KWF’s project proposal on research to be presented to NCIP.
