On 20 August 2022, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Chairperson Allen A. Capuyan and his party from the Central Office, visited the Agta and Calinga AD through the convergence area at the San Mariano Community Center, Zone 1, San Mariano, Isabela. The said ADs are under the NCIP Isabela Provincial Office. One of the aims of the said AD Visitation is the determination of the status of 11 Building Blocks in both ADs. Furthermore, the Chairperson also addressed the concerns of the participants especially the perennial problems in their respective communities. Through such, it is hoped that their rights are not just recognized and respected but to make them feel that the government is one with them in uplifting their quality of life.
