LOOK | NCIP Rizal CSC in partnership with Save the Children Philipines conducted Culture Sensitivity for Health Workers held at Pranjetto Resort Sampaloc, Tanay Rizal on July 25, 2022. Mr. Eddielito Sumangil and Nurse Karen Marie Repato-Gayod serve as the Resource Speaker for the said activity. It was attended by BHWs, RHU Midwife and Nurses together with NCIP Rizal Midwife Ms. Maria Cristina Tuazon and Dr. Mutya Ayesha Abubakar, Dentist of NCIP Region 4A.
The activity aims to develop culture sensitive health workers specifically the frontline workers of Barangay Health Centers of Brgys Daraitan and Sampaloc.
Dr. Mutya Abubakar, in her message, expressed appreciation and recognized the efforts of BHWs in the delivery of health service to the community. At the end of the training, the participants were able to determine inappropriate and suitable approaches when dealing with IP Clientle.
