The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) organized a Knowledge Booth at the Philippine Mission to the United Nations in Geneva Switzerland.
 
The booth showcases three coffee table books of NCIP’s Project Epanaw and other information and education materials to raise awareness of the country’s ethnography and Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples’ culture, customs and traditions to international partners and Filipino Communities in Geneva.
 
Chairperson Allen A. Capuyan of NCIP – and other officials from the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Office of the Court Administrator (OCA) of the Supreme Court, the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), and the Presidential Human Rights Committee Secretariat (PHRCS) – are in Geneva as the Philippine Delegation for the Constructive Dialogue between the Philippine Government and the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (UNCERD) on its 109th Session, on April 19-20, 2023.
