On October 4, 2022, in behalf of the Chairperson, Director Hazel Marjorie Lucas and OIC-Accountant Jennifer Punzal, Finance Service accepted the award from the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines for the NCIP as one of the “Outstanding Accounting Office for FY 2021”.
The basis of the award was the issuance of the COA of an unmodified opinion on NCIP’s financial statements which were present fairly, in all materials respects, the financial position of the NCIP as at December 31, 2021, and its financial performance, statement of cash flows, statement of changes in net assets/equity, statement of comparison of budget and financial and actual amounts for the year then ended, and notes to the financial statements, including a summary of significant Accounting policies in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs).
