National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Chairperson Capuyan distributed select photographs from Project Epanaw Phase II to the distinguished guests of the IP Summit from National Government Agencies (NGAs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the Private Sector, and other partner stakeholders. Project Epanaw Phase II will produce one coffee table book for each of the 101 Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) highlighting ten (10) elements of their indigeneity.
At the AFPCOC foyer, a Photo Exhibit was displayed showcasing the Healing, Reconciliation, and Operationalization of 11 Building Blocks in the Ancestral Domain in support to the Whole-of-Government/Whole-of-Nation Approach (WoG/WoNA) by Empowering the Former Rebels, IP Youth, IP Enlisted Personnel, and IP Leaders.
These activities included the 35 2-day seminar workshops, 28 inter-agency visits, and 17 side ancestral domain visits nationwide, participated in by ICCs/IPs and partner stakeholders from the public and private sector.
The maps showing the justice system, culture, rights, festivals, ways of life, tourist destinations, protected areas, critical infrastructure, and natural resources of the ICCs/IPs in their ancestral domains were also exhibited.
