VISIT TO CADT 134, MARAIGING, AGUSAN DEL NORTE AND PROJECT MONITORING | JULY 09, 2022
Representatives from OSESSC, OEHR, OECH and AS-GSD through the assistance of the staff and personnel of NCIP Region Caraga conducted a monitoring visit on the implementation of Agroforestry model farm project of Mamanwa cultural community, of CADT 134 in Maraiging, Agusan Del Norte.
This livelihood project is supported and funded by NCIP partners, SEARCH Foundation and First Gen.
The team also met with the IP Leaders and IPMRs to provide them information on the various programs and services of NCIP that they can access or avail.
Sharing on the Socio-Economic funded projects from other government agencies and private sectors were also discussed with the community representatives.
Printed copies of IEC/flyers were also distributed to them for ready reference and guidance should they decide which Socio-Economic projects they would like to propose.
Problems on Education and Socio-Economic projects and opportunities are the expressed needs of the community. The ways forward/next steps are determined and will be coordinated to appropriate offices for the proposed concrete actions to be undertaken by NCIP.
