08 November 2022 | The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) led by Chairperson attended the Philippine Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (PH-EITI) Extractives Transparency Week (ETW) Bilateral Meeting with the Head of Agencies on 08 November 2022 at the Centennial Hall, Manila Hotel, Ermita, Manila.
The meeting was attended by the Head of DOE, DENR, NCIP, and Senate Champion on Extractive Transparency with EITI Chair the Right Hon. Helen Clark for the commitment to EITI implementation in the Philippines.
During the meeting, NCIP Chairperson shared and emphasized the objectives and importance of the 11 Building Blocks (11BBs) of Resilient, Responsive, and Relevant ICCs/IPs in their Ancestral Domains and turned over the Project Epanaw’s Three (3) Coffee Table Books (CTBs) and the Poster of 11BBs.
