25 September 2023 | Headed by the Country Director for the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Brunei, Dr. Ndiamé Diop, the World Bank team paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Chairperson for the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Chairperson Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las.

The visit became a fruitful dialogue on nourishing partnership with an ongoing project initiative to reduce country’s vulnerabilities and ensure the Safeguard and Inclusion Agenda for the Indigenous Peoples in the Philippines.

Other continuing and future collaboration were discussed set towards the fulfillment for the recognition, respect, protection, and promotion of IP rights.
