Turnover of NCIP-Project Epanaw’s Coffee Table Books (CTBs) to the Philippine Consul General in San Francisco, California

09 December 2021 – The NCIP Commissioner for Central Mindanao, Bo-i Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las, proudly handed a set of Project Epanaw’s “PAGKILALA”, “PAGGALANG”, and “PAGTAGUYOD” CTBs to Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer, PH Consulate General in San Francisco, California.
This is the Second Philippine Consulate in the United States of America to have had officially received a set of CTBs which aims to promote awareness on Indigenous Peoples, their cultures and traditions, and their Ancestral Domains in the Philippines.
During the courtesy call, possible areas of cooperation were discussed whereby both agencies of the government can work together to deliver respective mandates to promote Philippine culture specifically on Indigenous Peoples of the Philippines within Consul General Ferrer’s consular jurisdiction in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Northern Nevada, Colorado, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Northern California.
