11 December 2023 | The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Chairperson Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las attended the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) 75th Celebration, with the theme, “We Stand for Peace, Dignity, Freedom and Justice” at the IRTC Conference Hall, Technological University of the Philippines.
The United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP) led the anniversary celebration alongside H.E. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Highlights of the 75th UDHR Anniversary were the awarding and recognition of those who have notable contributions in the protection and preservation of Human Rights, including NCIP Chairperson Jennifer Sibug-Las by H.E. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and the Induction of the Newly Elected UNAP Board of Trustees.
