19 JANUARY 2024 | Chairperson Jennifer Pia Sibug-Las along with Executive Director Mervyn H. Espadero welcomed the Indigenous Cultural Communities / Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) of Ayta Magantsi and Tagbanua Calamianen to the NCIP Central Office.
Members of the Ayta Magantsi particularly from CADT 025-A in Bamban, Tarlac visited the NCIP office to provide updates regarding the positive developments in their Ancestral Domain and to personally thank the Chairperson for the immediate assistance extended to them.
Likewise, the members of Tagbanua Calamianen of CADT-220 in Brgys. Panlaitan, San Isidro, and New Busuanga, all in the Municipality of Busuanga, Province of Palawan sought the guidance of the Ancestral Domains Office (ADO) relative to the on-going segregation of titled properties within their ancestral domain. Engr. Shelley Calata of ADO immediately responded to their concerns.
To cap the engagement, Chairperson Sibug-Las and Executive Director Mervyn Espadero took photos with the group to make their visit more memorable and as a sign of their support and gratitude for the efforts of the said ICCs/IPs.
