Workshop on the Identification of Partnership Entry Points between the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples

The CPD hosted a workshop at the Sotogrande Hotel in Quezon City on March 24, 2025, inviting the NCIP to explore potential partnership opportunities.

The workshop focused on identifying entry points for collaboration to address the interconnected challenges of population, social inclusion, representation, and development, especially among the Indigenous population. Representatives from NCIP’s bureau offices and regions IV-A and IV-B participated alongside CPD members.

The event was an opportunity for both agencies to exchange information about their existing programs and strategies, fostering discussions on areas where their efforts could converge. One of the objectives was to identify actionable steps for future collaboration and to agree on next steps for both CPD and NCIP moving forward.
